Homefront Britain




It is 1943 and Germany are bombing London as civilians shelter in Piccadilly tube station. The aftermath shows the damage as people clear up. Meanwhile we witness the Germans including Hitler and Goering planning.
There is also a look at the Women's Auxiliary Air Force and Women's Auxillary Territorial Service. There are new recruits, some still in civilian clothes. We also witness maintenance being carried out as well as the activities of the land girls and ATS girls being taught.
Forward to D-Day and the ships are tied in the harbour while soldiers carry out chores and kee a look out for remaining enemies.
