Interesting interview with Douglas Murray highlighting the disturbing figures contained in below report from the Center for Social Cohesion. This updated version of student pollings also contains a comprehensive list of radical speakers moving around freely on UK universities. Seems as if the "Tiny Minority of Extremists" so often reffered to, really refers to a "Tiny Majority of Moderates"...

Douglas Murray - Muslim Student Oppinoin and Extremist on Universities
The debate "Europe is failing its Muslims" took place on February 23rd at Cadogan Hall in London, in association with BBC World News and the British Council. Arguing in favour of the motion were Tariq Ramadan and Petra Stienen; against the motion were Douglas Murray and Flemming Rose. Has Europe fallen into an "us vs them" mindset? Have Europeans nurtured the perception that Islam is alien to the continent? Do they know what to make of people who don't conform to their Enlightenment values? Or do Europeans have good reason to associate Muslims with violence? Perhaps it's opposition to fundamentalist Islam which is really anti-fascist. Perhaps Islamophobia is just a constructed model designed to protect Islam from criticism, rather than individuals from discrimination.

Douglas Murray talked about his book Neoconservatism: Why We Need It, published by Encounter Books. British commentator Murray talked about the movement that replaced Great-Society liberalism, helped Ronald Reagan bring down the Berlin Wall, and provided the intellectual rationale for the Bush administration's efforts to eliminate global terrorism. While it is being blamed for foreign policy failures, Mr. Murray argued that the West needs neoconservatism more than ever. In addition to explaining what neoconservatism is and where it came from, he said that this American-born response to the failed policies of the 1960s is the best approach to foreign affairs not only for the United States but also for Britain and the West as well. After his presentation he responded to audience members’ questions.
