HANNITY: A two-year freeze on all federal salaries and immediate moratorium on new immigration, constitutional amendment making English the official language of the United States. Now, these are just a few of the things that my next guest says we must do if we want to save our country. Otherwise, America as we know it could be dead by the year 2025.
Well, and we'll only have ourselves to blame, he says. In his new book, "Suicide of a Superpower," former presidential candidate Pat Buchanan argues that while pursuing the perfect society of our dreams, we are literally killing the country that we inherited, the best and greatest in the world.
HANNITY: This is -- well, first of all, you wrote this book knowing that this was going to be controversial.
BUCHANAN: Right.
HANNITY: Why?
BUCHANAN: Well, I called it my last political will and testament. Sean, I decided to sit down for a couple years and figure out what happened to the country I grew up in. Why are we in such tremendous trouble not only with the status failing to defend the borders and can't balance its budget and can't end these trade deficits, it can't get manufacturing back. But socially, the country seems to be disintegrating. Why is it and why did it happen? And these are the answers basically I give. Now, you know, some of the solution you recommended or I recommended right at the end of that book, I think they will help solve the budget problem, and some of those problems. But I think some of our problems are so deep and endemic, I'm not sure they can be solved by politics...
HANNITY: Do we get to the point where there's a tipping point, I like Malcolm Gladwell's book, the tipping point being that, you know, half the other country is paying for the other half and the other half that's not paying even wants more and the country collides.
BUCHANAN: One John Sechalhones (ph) predicted this, half of the country basically becomes tax consumers and other half taxpayers. The tax consumers have no incentive if they are not, you know, they are not paying taxes really to get the government any smaller. Why should they?
And so you have got this tremendous conflict in society but it's only one of them, Sean. Take the idea, you know, in the 1950s, I don't care whether if you were for Truman or Eisenhower or what, the country has had a moral consensus. It had a moral unity, a moral code. Basically based in the old and new testament, which people believed in and felt was right and true. Ever since the social cultural revolution of the 1960s, that's completely collapsed. And with it, I think the traditional family has collapsed. And ideas of right and wrong have collapsed. I mean, we have talked about these issues, gay marriage or right to life and abortion and all of these things, promiscuity. One side says, well that's progressive, normal and natural. And the other side says, that's wrong.
HANNITY: How do you reconcile?
BUCHANAN: You don't reconcile. You can't. It's irreconcilable. But that's the source of these culture wars that culturally crop up, is the fundamental beliefs behind them and beneath them are irreconcilable conflict.
HANNITY: And, you know, you gave a famous speech, I think it was 1992.
BUCHANAN: Ninety-two, right.
HANNITY: And it created a big controversy. It's even quoted, I think Pat, to this day which shows the staying power of the Buchanan speech. But in all seriousness, you really are talking about a cultural divide on a major scale. And one thing that interested me in the book, you mentioned this was a desire, the end of Christianity, that many a dictator wanted. You quoted Karl Marx, opiate of the people et cetera, or the masses. And as I was reading this I'm thinking, you know, in many ways probably there's a lot of people celebrating that.
BUCHANAN: Listen, you know, we fought communism in Ronald Reagan's day and George Bush finished that Cold War up. The communism of Mao Tse Tung and Lenin and Stalin, horrible evil as it was, collapsed, it was a failure, it was a great success for a while. But the communism of Antonio Gramsci who argued that, look, he went to the Soviet Union. He said this place is failing, the people hate the place. What we've got to do is we've got to have a long march through the institutions of the west. And that long march to change their thinking and beliefs and basically get people so that they will accept cultural Marxism. They will embrace it as the Russian people rejected the other former -- and that's what happened. It's a trans- valuation as niche said of all values. What was wrong is now right and the reverse....
HANNITY: you talk a lot about balkanization. Balkanization when you look at the former Yugoslavia. The former Soviet Union. And how all these countries have broken up into a divide. I get the sense, your predicting a moral balkanization and economic balkanization of America, is that a good analysis?
BUCHANAN: That is an excellent analysis(...) I mean, the balkanization that's true and as we talked today, I have a chapter in there of 18,000 words, it's called ethno-nationalism and now, it's the triumph of tribalism. And what it is, Arthur Swazenger (ph) and Pat Monahan (ph) predicted at the end of the Cold War that the real conflicts coming up are going to be between peoples and tribes and races and cultures rather than ideologies like communism and capitalism. And I think they are right. All over the world, we see countries breaking down, breaking apart. Sudan just broke in half. Ethiopia broke in half. You see all the troubles in Kenya. You see Iraq.
You know, Sunni versus Shiites. Kurd versus Arab. Muslim versus Christian. The anti-Christian pandemic. The programs in the Middle East and everything. It is frightening but this is what is happening to the world it is all breaking down. Even in Europe, it's more peaceful. Scotland wants out. Catalonia wants out of Spain. Padania, Northern Italy wants out of Italy. Cypress is split in half. You take the Kurds, want out of Turkey. These are the battles I think of the future. This is the future of mankind. That's what makes me so concerned in the next segment about what's happening in our own country.
HANNITY: Well, what I predict will probably be the most controversial and you had to know this going in.
BUCHANAN: Right.

Documentary about the use of evolutionary biology as a tool for persecution of christians.
I remember following the "creationism vs. evolution" debacle back in the 90s when it was hot. However it quickly became obvious to me that this was simply a disguised political issue, with little if anything to do with science. There is absolutely nothing keeping one from being an evolutionist when it comes to the development of the different species, while maintaining a creationist view of genetics and "the beginning of life". Even the most fundamental concept within genetic research, that of "genetic information" seems to entail "intelligence" at some level or other. Needless to say, Galileo Galileo, Newton and Maxwell were all creationists along with countless other great scientists, dwarfing anything the atheist crowd can muster. This leaves little doubt that holding the view of intelligent design in no way obstructs the mathematization of nature.
Anyway, not being a christian, I found it hard to see the relevance of the debate back then, except for an uncanny feeling of not understanding what all the fuzz was about.
Today I have little doubt that all the fuzz was about the left feeling entitled to indoctrination of christian children, in order to make sure they wouldn´t become evil republicans and pro-lifers when they grow up. Having successfully enforced public schooling on all citizens, the left of course wanted to ensure that the gullible children stick with the program, and continue the obligatory course "Christians-are-crazy", which had worked so well for decades - along with all the other classes in "Treason" "Sex-before-Marriage" "Cultural self-hate" "Hate Whitey" etc...
Ben Stein does a brilliant job at interviewing both evolutionists and creationists, and makes it obvious just how nifty the expulsion of accomplished scientists and curious journalists works out in the real world. "Fire one - educate 50" seems to be the strategy. And as we have seen with regard to another socialist science scheme - The great Global Warming Racket - boy does it work!

When she was just 19, Sandeela Kanwal traveled from America to Pakistan for an arranged marriage to a cousin twice her age.
Less than six years later, she was dead — strangled — and her father, Chaudhry Rashid, was arrested by police as the suspect for what some have called an "honor killing."
After their marriage, Kanwal had lived in the United States apart from her husband, who remained in Pakistan. She was reunited with him in April at her family home in Atlanta, but he moved to Chicago days later, leaving her alone once again.
On July 1, Kanwal filed for divorce, a prospect her father, a 52-year-old immigrant from Pakistan, would not entertain. Investigators say that after an argument on the night of July 5, he strangled Kanwal with a bungee cord. He could not accept the "disgrace" a divorce or affair would bring on his family, according to police.
The United Nations estimates that as many as 5,000 women are murdered in such honor killings each year for offenses like immodesty or refusing an arranged marriage. They may be on the rise in the U.S., as seen anecdotally in Kanwal's death and a handful of other prominent attacks:
• Fifty-year-old Yaser Abdel Said became the focus of a massive manhunt after he allegedly killed his teenage daughters Sarah and Amina — for dating boys against his will. Relatives say he tried to marry off Amina in his native Egypt when she was 16, and he hasn't been seen since the girls were shot to death on New Year's Day.
• Zein Isa, a Palestinian terrorist who lived in St. Louis, was convicted of killing his daughter Palestina in 1989. Investigators say he was furious she had a black boyfriend, went to a school dance and got a job at Wendy's. Palestina's mother held her down as Isa plunged a 9-inch knife into his daughter's chest, actions the FBI picked up on a microphone as they investigated Isa for his terrorist ties.
• Waheed Mohammad, a 22-year-old immigrant from Afghanistan, was shamed by his sister, who he thought was a "bad Muslim girl." At his mother's behest, investigators say, he tried to "stop" his sister, stabbing her multiple times, though she survived and spoke to FOX News.

A conversation about race -- a film by Craig Bodeker

First time filmmaker Craig Bodeker has created an interesting and important new film, A Conversation About Race, filled with forceful questions and intriguing proof that there has been no conversation about race in America. In fact, he believes that racism has become a tool to attack white Americans.
In his opening monologue, Bodeker says that he can't think of an issue that is more important or timely than racism. He also says he "can't think of another issue that is more artificial, manufactured and manipulated than this whole construct called racism."
Pretty strong words to start a film with, certainly. Also the sort of words that would get someone branded a racist just trying to excuse his own hatred were he a white person (which Bodeker is). But is Craig Bodeker a racist? For his part, he basically says that we all are... yet we aren't. He feels this way because he believes the whole concept is ill defined and used to warp the actual, entirely human relations between Americans. But the biggest problem is that no one even seems to know what it is
Of course, the "largest racial group in America," whites of European origin, is the target of this "tool of intimidation" against whites as Bodeker sees it. Racism is used as a "hammer" to beat up whites.
Bodeker begins by interviewing common folks on the street asking them if they see racism. All included in the film say that they see it "every single day" in their daily lives. Blacks, whites, other ethnicities, all seem to see this racism "in every city" in America, as one fellow says.
Next Bodeker asks his interviewees to define racism. Yet, few seem to be able to articulate a definition, despite that they claim to see it everywhere.
Bodeker finds this a disconnect. Everyone sees it, yet no one seems to know what racism is. In fact, he finds that the word "racism" has become so elastic that it no longer has any meaning. The on-line source Wikipedia, for instance, defines racism this way:
Racism: The term usually denotes race-based prejudice, violence, discrimination, or oppression. The term can also have varying and hotly contested definitions.
As Bodeker says, there was a time when "definitions were by definition, definite." Yet we can no longer seem to define racism with out using disqualifying words like "usually" as Wikipedia did above. Is it racism as defined or only "usually" racism?
As an example of the disconnect that Bodeker sees with racism in America, he asks various people of various backgrounds if blacks are naturally better at basketball. All but one said yes. When he asked if whites can be better at anything by definition of being white, the answer was universally no.
Bodeker wonders why it is racist to say that whites can be better at, say, Human Relations in a corporation, than are blacks, but it isn't racist to say blacks are better at basketball than whites. It would seem that both positions are racist positions, yet only the anti-white position is approved of.
It all fits in with Bodeker's theory that racism is no longer a concept that keeps blacks or other minorities down, but one that is used to attack whites instead.
His logic is awfully hard to deny.
After all, the original definition of racism is that it is a concept based on the assumption that one race is better, superior, or intrinsically worth more than another. Yet, at every turn Bodeker cannot find any one that says that whites are better than blacks at anything — and it is assumed an evil thing to say — yet people have no problem saying that blacks are better at basketball or Asians are better at their schooling.
Bodeker does a fine job in A Conversation About Race exposing the confused assumptions, and disconnects that America has over racism. He shows that the conversation about race that Senator Barack Obama was so famous for fostering has not happened at all in this country.
This is certainly a conversation that America needs to have, but has yet to engage in and Bodeker's film is a good first step.

This is the notorious 1994 episode of Frontline about violent Islamic militants in America, bracketed by post-9/11 footage of that disaster and the U.S. attack in Afghanistan. Hidden cameras inside *American* mosques reveal Islamic militants raising funds for Hamas, baying for the blood of Jews. Even something so innocent as a summer camp for boys is turned into terror training by these apostles of jihad. (Catch the little arab boy hissing "Butcher the Jews!" during that segment.) Evidence is also offered suggesting that the first World Trade Center bombing was plotted and funded inside the U.S. At the end, the narrator assures us that Islam itself does not condone the violent jihad that American Muslims are being called to. This is baldly untrue, based on the Koran and the Hadiths and a quarter century of painful experience, but that issue needs its own video, so it doesn't much matter here. It's hard to believe that PBS once actually aired this mortal sin against multi-cultism. Complaints against its creator, Steve Emerson, from well-funded American Muslim groups helped get him blacklisted from NPR's All Things Considered for a while. Less subtle disapproval from less savory Muslims nearly landed him in the FBI's witness protection program. In response to the (non-existent) oppression of Muslims in America, PBS this past year aired its infamous pro-Islam infomercial, in which American Muslims are portrayed as no different from anyone else save for headgear and cuisine.
