THE SUNDAY TIMES (London, 23 January 1977) secured a copy of a secret Council of Europe Report, which found Turkey guilty of violating seven articles of the European convention on Human Rights.

On the ground of the 1976 secret Report, THE SUNDAY TIMES published on 23rd January 1977 a first page massive indictment of the Ankara government for the murders, rapes and looting by the Turkish army in Cyprus during and after the 1974 Turkish invasion, together with an Insight Exclusive titled “Turk atrocities: What secret report reveals”.

To the fury of the Turkish government, the newspaper published extracts of the secret Report, that document the KILLING and EXECUTION of civilians (men, women and children), the REPEATED RAPES of women of all ages from 12 to 71, the ENFORCED PROSTITUTION of women and girls, the SYSTEMATIC TORTURE of people (including children, women and pensioners), and the SYSTEMATIC LOOTING in all Turkish-occupied areas of Greek Cypriot houses and business premises.

Documentary about the use of evolutionary biology as a tool for persecution of christians.
I remember following the "creationism vs. evolution" debacle back in the 90s when it was hot. However it quickly became obvious to me that this was simply a disguised political issue, with little if anything to do with science. There is absolutely nothing keeping one from being an evolutionist when it comes to the development of the different species, while maintaining a creationist view of genetics and "the beginning of life". Even the most fundamental concept within genetic research, that of "genetic information" seems to entail "intelligence" at some level or other. Needless to say, Galileo Galileo, Newton and Maxwell were all creationists along with countless other great scientists, dwarfing anything the atheist crowd can muster. This leaves little doubt that holding the view of intelligent design in no way obstructs the mathematization of nature.

Anyway, not being a christian, I found it hard to see the relevance of the debate back then, except for an uncanny feeling of not understanding what all the fuzz was about.
Today I have little doubt that all the fuzz was about the left feeling entitled to indoctrination of christian children, in order to make sure they wouldn´t become evil republicans and pro-lifers when they grow up. Having successfully enforced public schooling on all citizens, the left of course wanted to ensure that the gullible children stick with the program, and continue the obligatory course "Christians-are-crazy", which had worked so well for decades - along with all the other classes in "Treason" "Sex-before-Marriage" "Cultural self-hate" "Hate Whitey" etc...

Ben Stein does a brilliant job at interviewing both evolutionists and creationists, and makes it obvious just how nifty the expulsion of accomplished scientists and curious journalists works out in the real world. "Fire one - educate 50" seems to be the strategy. And as we have seen with regard to another socialist science scheme - The great Global Warming Racket - boy does it work!

The department faculty, then, are unequivocal in their support of evolutionary theory, which has its roots in the seminal work of Charles Darwin and has been supported by findings accumulated over 140 years. The sole dissenter from this position, Prof. Michael Behe, is a well-known proponent of "intelligent design." While we respect Prof. Behe's right to express his views, they are his alone and are in no way endorsed by the department. It is our collective position that intelligent design has no basis in science, has not been tested experimentally, and should not be regarded as scientific.

The views expressed in above lecture was obviously so horrifying to the progressive  new-age/atheist establishment, that they had to release a statement rejecting any and all sympathy with Behe´s research.

Keeping in mind the many crack-pot theories hailed by physics departments as "groundbreaking", such as "multi-verse-theory" or Darwin-inspired theories about "universes evolving through natural selection" etc. One cannot help but wonder: What is so dangerous about Behe´s assertions? The answer is disturbingly simple. Behe´s views are not anti-christian. Now, Intelligent Design does not support the details found in Genesis, nor attribute any moral preferences or personal attributes to an intelligent designer. Their only crime is not to explicitly deny the existence of the God of the Bible. But of course this more than suffices to discard the research as utterly unscientific.
Never mind the fact, that many of the evolutionist accounts of the origin of first life, such as the claim that certain chemical properties are simply "predestined for life" has clear pantheistic implications(see second article below). - That's all "fascinating and brilliant" as long as the anti-christian paradigm remains intact.

A similar case occurred after the publication of the first peer-reviewed article in support of Intelligent Design. Quickly after the publication of The origin of biological information and the higher taxonomic categories in Proceedings of the Biological Society of Washington(117(2):213-239. 2004) - After realising that they had commited the ultimate sin, and actually published a paper which did not deny Christ, they of course panicked and released the below statement of apology.

The paper by Stephen C. Meyer, "The origin of biological information and the higher taxonomic categories", in vol. 117, no. 2, pp. 213-239 of the Proceedings of the Biological Society of Washington, was published at the discretion of the former editor, Richard v. Sternberg. Contrary to typical editorial practices, the paper was published without review by any associate editor; Sternberg handled the entire review process. The Council, which includes officers, elected councilors, and past presidents, and the associate editors would have deemed the paper inappropriate for the pages of the Proceedings because the subject matter represents such a significant departure from the nearly purely systematic content for which this journal has been known throughout its 122-year history.

I edited and subtitled these horrifying testimonies from the socialist re-education camp in Pitesti, Romania. Here Christians were brutally tortured and humiliated in an almost scientific manner. The objective: to make them stop believing in God and country.

I sincerely hope everyone will keep these voices in mind, the next time they hear the leftist media express their new found need to show  respect for "other people's religion."

The more I think about it, the more I feel compelled to conclude that the socialist persecution of Christianity never ended. It is, I'm convinced, still carried out to this day. What used to be done through "Black Liturgy", is now simply achieved by an obsessive desire to "refute" creation by stressing evolution, exaggeration of Catholic propensity to paedophilia, relentless taunting of priests who are unwilling to grant homosexuals holy matrimony, and, last but not least, a complete media black out on the worldwide persecution of Christians.

But where does this deep-seated socialist hatred of Christians come from?

Christianity not only advocates universal peace, love and understanding, it even recommends giving away all your belongings to the poor and needy. Things that on the face of it should sit well with extreme left-wingers. But as we all know by now, leftist revolutionaries were more eager to advocate stealing and promote sex, drugs and "psychedelic" rock than spreading christian values of peace, love and understanding.

This only makes sense if one acknowledges that the revolution so longed for by the radical left, is nothing less than a civil war, out of which the international socialists are to stand victorious.  Christians are, because of their religion less inclined to kill a neighbor because of his income and try the best they can not to covet the belongings of a neighbor at all. This makes Christians bad revolutionaries. They're not angry, vengeful and hateful enough. In short, they are a major obstacle for the coming of the socialist millenia, which in the leftist mind requires a swift and efficient re-education.

The Summer-of-Love-Leftists in the West will of course immediately discard the horrible re-education strategies of the Pitesti camp as the excact opposite of anything they ever stood for. And undoubtedly this will be true. More true than they care to admit.

Because just as  surely as the Empire of Evil would try and inflict terrifying pain on a traitor at home, they would seek to reward him with the most extreme albeit unchristian pleasures abroad.

But to this day few people are willing to admit, that disciplining the socialist realm through torture and slavery, while at the same time promoting destructive hedonism in the free world, was simply the strategic application of the two most basic reinforcements set out in the pavlovian scheme upon which soviet psychological warfare was molded.  Sex, drugs and dis-info for the free, Gulag for the conquered.

Yet another remarkable film by Pierre Rehov - My personal favorite among directors of counter-jihad documentaries. It contains in depth interviews with Brigitte Gabriel and Bat Yeor among others focusing mainly on the islamisation of Egypt and Libanon.

I planned to write a more extensive post about the reasons behind the media black-out on muslim persecution of christians, but decided to refrain, simply because I cannot explain it.
A lot of it has to do with socialist persecution of christians spilling over into western media because of soviet infiltration and dominance during the cold war, some has to do with the divisions within christianity and maybe even christianity as such. But over-all it simply does not make sense that the slaughter and humiliation of millions of christians remains hidden from the public in the christian countries of the west.
Something very sinister is at play, when the Church of Bethlehem can be shot up and desecrated in urine and excrement by terrorists without much attention from western media.

This film is an absolutely a remarkable account of the horrors commited in this socialist "re-education" camp, where especially christian priests underwhent the most evil torture and sadist treatments in order to "free" them of their belief in god. The diabolic care and creativity which rests within the planned procedures of depersonalisation shows beyond any doubt that the socialists were using these camps not just to punish dissenters but to develop and refine pavlovian techniques of psychological subjugation.

Another heartbreaking documentary by Mark Stucke, the founder of Journeyman films. It is from 1995, but don´t expect it to ever show up in public broadcasting. It is afterall considered a breach of community cohesion to direct attention to the fact that muslims hate christians. And that ethnic cleansing, humiliation, rape and theft are considered pious, when it comes to "those who were let astray". After all this makes them feel in a very physical sense that Allah really is more Akhbar than the god of the christians.
It has been the plight of the coptic christians for a good millenia, to experience the relentless incremental warfare, which is the true military invention of muhammads religion.
Egypt, once the greatest civilisation on the face of the earth, now demolished replaced by islamic repression, annoying beggars and salesmen trying to trick the kafirs. However millions of tourists still flock to see the left-overs. But not many people realise, the irony of the fact, that the beauty of the sfinxes and pyramids only stand today, because the muslims couldn´t even produce the technology needed to destroy these places of "idolatry". They did however manage to skin the beautiful white limestone, which once made the pyramids shine with a most wonderful light. Needless to say, it was to be used in the Mosques instead.
This could serve as a warning to the arrogant ways of the west, in dealing with the onslaught of a technologically inferior culture.

Egypt is no place to be in the minority. For the country's Christians persecution has become the norm.
The conflict between Christians and Muslims is the most sensitive issue in Egypt.

Both the Church and the Egyptian government have created a wall of silence which conceals an ugly persecution of the Christian minority. The Islamic movement is bent on converting the eight million Coptic Christians living in their midst, around 12,000 a year becoming Muslim.

Converting to Islam offers financial and social rewards. But a spokesman for the militant Jamaat Islamiya fighters reveals that the Koran instructs them to execute those who convert to Christianity. The Coptic Pope tells us that the conflict must be resolved by Egyptians, not by the international community.

In the poorer areas of Cairo, isolated Christian families are being targeted for conversion. Often the inducements are financial, or promotion is refused until they have converted. More violent tactics are also used. A mother speaks of the rape of her teenage daughter, who was told by police to marry the rapist or go to prison. The shame of rape has left many young girls with no choice but to leave their families and convert to Islam.

One Christian man was shot and stabbed by Muslim fanatics - the Coptic Cross, tattooed on his wrist as a sign of faith, was gouged out with a knife. He accuses the police of colluding with the Muslims - a common accusation. Political adviser to President Mubarak, Dr Ossama Al Baz, denies any accusations of government collusion in the persecution: “We respect the sentiments of both Muslims and Christians. Any form of extremism is looked upon by the government as an anti-Egyptian activity and is unhealthy, and we prevent it so far as we can do that.”

But others hold a different view. “The extreme Islamic ideology has now spread in all governmental departments. There is now a whole generation from these groups in leading positions,” says Morris Sadik, a Coptic lawyer who is battling to expose the Muslim fanatics who have attacked his client.

The lives of these people are governed by fear; many of them are even too scared to appear on camera, preferring to speak anonymously of their experiences. The irony is that, until recently, Muslims and Christians have co-existed peacefully in this region for hundreds of years. Indeed, the influence of Muslim practices on the Coptic Church is clear – worshippers remove their shoes before entering church, and women cover their heads.

But recently, pressure from Islamic extremists is forcing many moderate Muslims to give up their contacts with the Copts. Neighbours who were once good friends now have nothing to do with each other, purely because of their religion. And there is now little hope of reconciliation. As the conflict between Islam and the West worsens, it is small Christian communities like these, isolated in the middle of the Muslim world, that end up getting caught in the crossfire.

Apparently around thousand christian east timorese children were kidnapped by the muslims during the Horrifying massacres of the muslim indonesian Pro-integration militia (yes, that is what they call themselves!)in East Timor 1999.
"Mr Kessler said that because the UNHCR could not now work in West Timor, where 120,000 people in the camps are being held virtual hostage, Indonesian aid workers with access were being asked to try to track the families of the children. The UNHCR would also try to trace other parents who had returned to East Timor, Mr Kessler said.

Soni Qodri, a Jakarta-based humanitarian worker and investigator, told The Age that Indonesian non-government organisations believe up to 1000 children have been separated from their parents and brought from East and West Timor to various parts of Indonesia.

"We fear many of them are being mistreated, such as being forced to work in sweatshop factories, plantations and prostitution but evidence is difficult to obtain," he said."

Why has there been a great-and little reported-Christian exodus from the Middle East, with some two million fleeing in the past 20 years alone?

One of the most important aspects of the Israeli-Palestinian c More..onflict that has been overlooked is the plight of Christians in the Holy Land. Christians in the Palestinian territories have dropped from 15 percent of the Arab population in 1950 to just two percent today. This Christian exodus is a result of many factors, including the fighting between Israelis and Palestinians, the related decline of the economy, but perhaps most significantly, the religious persecution these Christians encounter from their Muslim neighbors.

If you are a Christian, and your son or daughter was killed because of your faith, what would you do? If your Muslim neighbor came to you and said, "Your daughters must convert to Islam and marry our sons, or we will kill your entire family," how would you respond? "Convert or die" is the message of choice for Islamic jihadists in Baghdad and Iraq who are working overtime to rid Iraq of "infidel" Christians.

I must strongly caution anyone that the following story and contents are extremely graphic, and may be disturbing to anyone reading or sharing them.

On 1 March in Baghdad, I met a man who refuses to give up hope for the future of Iraq's Christians. This is in spite of repeated threats to his life; the kidnappings, extortion, torture, and murder of hundreds of his congregation; and the abductions and subsequent mutilations and murders of his friends who are the few remaining religious leaders in Iraq. On top of all these challenges, the church he pastors has little money to continue to feed and provide medical care and medicine to the 1500+ members of the church he pastors for the most despised, yet often poorest of Baghdad's citizens - Baghdad's Iraqi Christians.

His name is Andrew White, and his official Anglican Church title is Canon White, but almost everyone he knows just calls him "Baba" ("Father" in Arabic.) He is a thoughtful, intelligent man who is a gentle giant, yet is terribly afflicted with the awful disease of multiple sclerosis.

Prior to my first military embed assignment in Iraq in January 2007, I was unaware that Christians even existed in Iraq. However, during that embed, I met a young Iraqi Christian woman, who had served as an interpreter for the U.S. for over three years, despite death threats to both she and her family. After she explained that there were over one million native Iraqi Christians, and that most were in great danger because of their faith, I was horrified and had to know more. After our meeting, I spent three months researching the story of the ongoing religious genocide of Iraqi's native Christians. Wait, did he say Iraq's native Christians? Yes, Iraq's Christian population pre-dated the Muslims in Iraq by almost seven hundred years!

Most of Iraq's native Christians call Nineveh (or the Nineveh Plains) their ancestral homeland. Those of you who have read the Old Testament will recall the story of Jonah and the whale in the Book of Jonah. Jonah was a reluctant prophet, who finally went to Nineveh where his testimony inspired the entire city of Nineveh to convert and repent. After Christ was crucified and was resurrected, Thomas the Apostle traveled to Nineveh, and his preaching facilitated many of the Ninehvites to convert to Christianity.

The Christian majority in Iraq gradually became a minority by the immigration of Muslims from the Ottoman Empire into Mesopotamia after 682 A.D. (Does this scenario sound somewhat vaguely familiar to my fellow Americans and our European allies?) The Christians and the Muslims had many differences, and much blood was spilled during the 1300+ years between then and now. The two religious groups generally settled into a tenuous co-existence throughout history, even through Saddam's reign. In fact, Saddam's right hand man, Tariq Aziz, was a Christian (and an "enforced" acquaintance of Canon White's during the First Gulf War.) I have learned that many of Saddam's household staff and servants were Christians because he felt that he could trust them not to assassinate him!

After Saddam was deposed during the U.S. invasion in 2003, some Islamic jihadists took the opportunity to begin a program of discrimination, extortion (jizyah), and coercion to rid their country of the (infidel) Christians. This program eventually changed into more violent tactics such as kidnappings, torture, and murder. My friend's brother was kidnapped, and a ransom was paid, but he was shot in the leg before he was returned to his family. Unfortunately, this is one of the success stories.

Truth be known, much of Iraq's Christian population has either been forced into exile or has been murdered as a message to the remaining Christians. Of the estimated 1.4 million Iraqi Christians in Iraq in 2003, only an estimated 300,000 to 500,000 remain there. Many families are simply told, "Convert or die! Your daughters must convert to Islam and marry our sons or we will kill your entire family." There are eyewitness accounts of the kidnappings of priests who were subsequently decapitated, and had their bodies deposited at the door of their church with their heads placed upon their chests. Those young Christian men unwilling to convert or carry out suicide attacks are kidnapped and murdered. I heard accounts of both the crucifixion of a teenage boy, and of a boy who was roasted atop a pile of rice as a message to his parents and fellow Christians. Canon White related how he officiates many funerals of the murdered, but seldom gets the bodies back to bury them after they are kidnapped.

I know these stories are both shocking and horrifying. However, there are both recorded interviews and/or photographs to substantiate what I am telling you. As fellow Christians here in the U.S. and abroad, we must do something to help our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who live in Iraqi, or are refugees before they are all driven out or killed.

In spite of their sufferings, there is hope. The U.S. Congress passed legislature in December of 2007 which acknowledged the plight of Iraq's Christians, and allotted $10 million to conduct a study to see what could be done to resolve the issue (too little and too late, but a good start.) My friend, Michael Youash, of www.democracyforiraq.com co-sponsored this bill, and I encourage everyone to view their website for updates. Canon White encouraged us to research this issue, but also to take action by writing our Congress and Senators, spreading the word to fellow Christians, and most importantly, to donate money for the direct support of these fellow Christians in Iraq, Syria, Jordan, and internally displaced persons within Iraq to those organizations listed below that will make sure the aid is distributed properly.

The Armenian Genocide is a documentary exploring the circumstances surrounding the mass-killing of more than one million Armenians by the Ottoman Empire during World War I. The documentary was broadcast by most 348 PBS affiliate stations on April 17, 2006.

Because of the high controversy of the subject, particularly with Turkey, PBS attempted to give both sides a voice and produced a four expert panel discussion to be aired immediately afterwords.
